Mr. Abelio T. Garcia, 84, a resident of Albuquerque, passed away peacefully at home with his loving family by his side on September 19, 2004.
Mr. Garcia is the beloved father to Abelio R. Garcia Jr. and wife, Betty, Pablo R. Garcia and wife, Julile, Jose I. Garcia and wife, Martha, Mary (Angela) Sandoval and husband, Andrew A., Meres Gonzales and husband, Antonio, Yolanda C. Carrillo and husband, Chris, Mary (Nancy) Ortiz and husband, Charlie.
Mr. Garcia is also survived by 18 grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Mr. Garcia was a member of the Catholic Church, a Veteran of the United States Army serving in World War II.
Mr. Garcia worked with the Albuquerque Dukes Organization for over 30 years, was retired from Sandia Lab and he loved baseball.
