Mrs. Beene was a well known native of Haynesville, La. She had been a resident of Shreveport, La since 1937. She attended Judson College in Marion, Ala and was a member of the First Baptist Church and Zeta Tau Alpha sorority. She was preceded in death by her parents Shadrack C and Mary L Dawson Waller and her husband Claude Beene. Surviving Mrs. Beene is One daughter Marjorie Beene Winkler, Two brothers P. D. and Dayton Waller, two grandsons and four great grandchildren..
