Funeral services for Mae Jackson, 68, of Alvin, will be Wednesday, March 14, 2012, at 11:00 a.m. at Dixon Funeral Home, 2025 E. Mulberry in Angleton with Dr. Harold Gentry, officiating. Burial will follow at Peaceful Rest Cemetery in Brazoria, Texas.
She passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2012, at Clear Lake Regional Hospital in Clear Lake, Texas.
Mae enjoyed playing bingo, dominoes and going fishing.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Perry Jackson; parents, Howard and Veola Henry and 1 granddaughter, Cavata Lemon.
She is survived by her sons, Perry Lynn Jackson of Angleton, Henry Earl Jackson (Jennifer) of Alvin and Darryl Henry Sr.(Donna) of Manvel; daughter, Glory Stredic(Roy) of Bay City; uncle, Frank Swanks of Houston; aunt, Edna Mae Clay of Bay City; 12 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends.
Active pallbearers will be Darryl Henry Jr., Brandon Lemon, Carl Lemon, Aaron Jackson, Jayland Lemon and Corey Jackson.
Honorary pallbearers will be Perry Lynn Jackson, Henry Earl Jackson, Darryl Henry, Sr. and Frank Swanks.
