Former Yolo Woman Dies In Bay Area

Woodland relatives and friends today learned of the death in Ross Sunday of Mrs. Roberta Grant Armstrong of Tomales, a former resident here, and Aunt of Paul Grant of Woodland.

Mrs. Armstrong died Sunday after being ill for about a week. Funeral services are to be held Wednesday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the Clarence N. C?per mortuary. Fruitvale avenue at E. 16th street, Oakland. Cremation will follow at Mountain View Cemetery. Mrs. Armstrong was the daughter of the late Professor R. A. Grant, who taught in the Hesperian college here, and Mrs. Sue Grant, who was also one of the county's pioneer educators. She was a native of Missouri, but had spent most of her youth in Woodland. Surviving are her husband, Bert Armstrong of Tomales, and a brother, Dr. John T. Grant of San Francisco, Mrs. Helen Marsh and Donald Grant of San Francisco are niece and nephew.
