George Prall, a music and English teacher in the Mt. Diablo Unified School District for 28 years, died in Pleasant Hill. He was 88.
The native of Lacona, Iowa, lived in Pleasant Hill for 50 years. He graduated from UC Berkeley and was a member of Mt. Diablo Unitarian Universalist Church in Walnut Creek.
He is survived by his daughters, Nancy Freeman of Richmond and Susan Wilson of Yuba City; son, David Prall of Yuba City; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. His wife, Barbara, died in 1995.
Services: Memorial 3 p.m. Friday at Mt. Diablo Unitarian Church, Walnut Creek. Arrangements by Connolly & Taylor, Martinez.
