Lawrence "Larry" Edward Burroughs II, 59, of Petersburg, Va. departed this life Thursday, September 15, 2011. He is preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence and Grace Burroughs and his grandmother, Grace Rebecca Nelsen Jones.
Larry graduated from Petersburg High School in 1970. He was a band member in high school and music, computers and bowling were his favorite pastimes. He was a retired electronics technician.
Larry and his mother Grace Burroughs did extensive work on the Nelsen and Burroughs family histories.
He was buried in Southlawn Cemetery, outside Petersburg, Virginia, on Monday, September 19, 2011.
