Joyce Erelene Thomas Patterson, 63, passed on into the loving arms of our Heavenly Father peacefully on Friday, February 20, 2004, at St. Joseph's Hospital. She leaves to mourn; her loving husband, Harley Patterson, a sister, Peggy Elie, a niece, Kathy Cockrell and husband Randy, 2 great nephews, Jason and Jared Cockrell, one great niece Kelsey Cockrell, one step daughter, Tammie Wade and husband, Alton, 3 grandchildren, Nicholas Cole, Trevor Wade, and Tamara Wade, Mother-in-law, Anna Mae Patterson, 2 brothers-in-law, Zane Patterson and Robby Patterson, one sister- in-Law Annelle Morgan. Also an uncle Richard Codner, and his wife Sylvia, 3 first cousins, Ricky Codner and his son Austin Codner, Kenny Codner and Wife Melissa and their son David, Lisa Choate and Husband Mike, and their children, Shane Choate and Cody Choate. Also her very loving companion her puppy dog, Pierre. "FROM ONE SISTER TO ANOTHER SISTER" Yours was the face my loving eyes saw, to comfort and love me when ever I called. The hands that held me and encouraged me on. Were hands full of love so gentle and strong. You made life an adventure more exciting by far. Full of fun and laughter, you were my shining star. You were incredible and blessed those you touched. Now I live without you and will miss you so much. A gift from heaven you surely were to me, if only because you were a sister a mother to me.
