Kenneth C. Leech 86, of Muscatine, died on Thursday May 5, 2011, at Lutheran Homes,

Funeral services will be 10;30 a.m. on Monday May 9, 2011 at the Ralph J. Wittich Riley Freers Funeral Home, Dr Bruce Ursin of the Wesley United Methodist Church will oficiate. Casket bearers will be his grandchildren, Katy, Lisa, Rebecca, Kenzie, Broc, Mike and Andy. Burial will take place in Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 2-5 p.m. on Sunday May 8, 2011 at the funeral home.
Memorials may be left to Lutheran Homes.

Kenneth was born on January 26, 1925, in Muscatine, the son of John Harvey and Florence Tracy Leech. He marriwd Darlene Bryant on May 29, 1944, in Denver, Colorado. He was a U.S. Army Air Corps veteran of World War 11, serving during the European Theater.

He worked at Alcoa for 38 years. He was a member of Wesley United Methodist Church, and the American Legion Post no 27. He was a former member of the Elks Lodge No 304 and the Moose Lodge no 388.

Those left to honor his memory include his wife Darlene Leech of Muscatine, two sons, Douglas Leech and wife Christine of Muscatine, and Robert Leech and wife Marcia of Muscatine. one daughter, Margaret Ann Broddus and husband Tony of Chicago Ill. seven grandchildren, Lisa Leech and husband Eric Johnson, Andrew Leech and wife Jennifer, Michael Leech, Rebecca Kelly and husband Brian, Kathryn Lee and husband Bryan, Broe Caliger and friend Holly, and Kenzie Gassen, six great grandchildren, Hannah, Kate, Liz, Anna, Rachel, and Cayden. and one sister, Phyllis Henry of Bettendorf. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, John Edward Leech and one sister, Margaret McHenry.
