HIGH POINT – Johnnie Benjamin Edwards, 86, passed away Friday, March 2, 2012 at the Hospice Home at High Point.
He was the son of the late Benjamin K. Edwards and Louise Hayworth Edwards. He was a retired tobacco farmer and sawmill operator.
He is survived by his wife, Ruby Dickens Edwards; a sister, Nancy Washam and her husband Bill; three nieces and two nephews.
Graveside service will be held Monday at 2 p.m. in Floral Garden Memorial Park Cemetery. The family will receive friends at Davis Funerals and Cremations Monday from 1 p.m. until the service. Memorials may be directed to Hospice of the Piedmont.
