Roy L. Caney, 66, died at his home, 41 fifth avenue, at 7 pm. Saturday. He had been in ill health since Nov. 10.
Mr. Caney was born and always lived in Gloversville. He had been employed by the Sowles Hardware Co. for the past 43 years.
Survivors are his wife, Frances Caney, Gloversville, Two brothers, Clarence Caney of Gloversville and Louis Caney of Benson and two neices.
Funeral services will be held at the Walrath and Bushouer Funeral Home, 51 Fremont street, tomorrow at 2 pm. Rev. Jesse Greene, of the Fremont Methodist Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Prospect Hill cemetery.
