Margaret Campbell, 90, recently of Fort Wayne, IN, formerly Kansas City, MO, was finally granted her wish to be with her Lord and Savior and joined Him Monday, February 20, 2012. She is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Sandra and Jim James, Diana and Bob Bresler, Paula and Jack Lorence; six grandchildren, Vince James, Delton Bresler, Sean (Carrie) Bresler, Sonja (John) Cronin, Jonathon (Kristina) Lorence, Courtney (Michael) Hoerger; and seven great grandchildren, Nick, Courtney, Kaylee, Jeremiah, Parker, Ethan and Olivia, one sister, Loretta (Wesley) Whittemore, and many loving nieces and nephews. Margaret was preceded in death by Wayne, her husband of 59 years, in 2001. Margaret often wondered why she was still here on this earth. She found her answer in the friends she made at The Harbours. She planted many seeds with residents and workers about how special they were to Jesus and her. Margaret wanted all she met to know her loving Savior. A very special and heartfelt "Thank You" to the nurses, aides, and volunteers at Visiting Nurse and Hospice Home, who took great care of Mom (and her family) during her final days. The service will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Feb. 23, at Park Lawn Funeral Home, 8251 Hillcrest Rd., KCMO 64138 with calling one hour before the service. Her final resting place will be in Green Lawn Cemetery, Kansas City, MO. Arrangements: Park Lawn, (816) 523-1234.
