Forrest was the best trained corgi ever; always at Jimmy's side. Jim used the phrase that Forrest was his soul mate.
Jim and his family are members of the First United Methodist Church. He was a member of the Brazil Elks Lodge.
He was preceded in death by his father Warren Grey.
Survivors include his wife Luann Grey of Brazil; their daughter Megan Grey Bayler and husband Jared of Terre Haute; his mother Virginia Grey and brother Philip Grey, sister Sue Ann Grey all of Brazil; and a large circle of very close friends and neighbors.
Funeral Information
At his request, cremation will take place with a Celebration of his life to be held on Friday at 7:00pm at Lawson-Miller Chapel. Friends may gather from 5-7.
Honorary pallbearers will be Les Miller, Jeff Cope, Jeff Chamberlin, Doug Williams, Harvey Roscoe, John Roach, and Matt Rains.

Jim also requested that memorial contributions be made in his honor to the Clay County Humane Shelter, and the family strongly encourages friends to do so.
