William married Elizabeth Eveline Thomas, 12 October 1839, Russell Co., Alabama. They were the parents of John Wesley, Seally Ann Elizabeth, Mary Catherine, William Barney W., James Sylvester, Jacob J. Thomas, Elizear J.R., Newton J., Alexander Blakely, and Manasa Emma Lee Skates.
