George was born on January 17, 1923 in Oxford, NJ. He was the son of the late Harry and Mary Tresize Miller.
He was a charter member and past president of the Oxford Fire Company. He was the member of the Oxford Central School Board, 10 year representative of the Warren County Muncipal Utilities Authority, a member of the Hillside Cemetery Assciation of Oxford, he was a lifetime member of the Second Presbyterian Church, Oxford, NJ, where he taught Sunday School and was on the session of the church.
George was the owner and operator of George H. Miller Excavation and General Trucking, Oxford, NJ.
George is survived by his loving wife of 62 years, Margaret Simmons. A son, Kevin G. and wife Rochelle Miller of Belvidere, NJ, a daughter, Debra Miller of Oxford, NJ, a sister, Fannie Baylor of Washington, NJ. Three grandchildren; Robert , Kyle and Rayna , and one great-granddaughter, Zoey, and many nieces and nephews. He is predeased by three brothers; John "Jack", Kenneth, and Robert, and two sisters; Evelyn Maginnis and Margaret Meixel.
