Born August 16, 1932, he was the son of the late William Henry Bart and the late Mary Virginia Brunner Bart Dodson. He lived in Frederick and Montgomery Counties for all of his life and worked in the drywall industry until his retirement.
He is survived by one son, Michael Bart, and two grandchildren, Christina Bart and Bradley Swift. He was predeceased by his daughter, Pamela Langan. He is also survived by one brother, William Henry Bart, Jr., and seven sisters, Mary Louise Hargett, Vivian Irene Marshall, Dorothy Virginia Fox, Shirley Ann Green, Margaret Mae Ayers, Barbara Jean Beauchamp and Doris Marie Hensley, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. John will be remembered with love by his family and his many friends for his generosity of spirit and quirky sense of humor.
