Mrs. Frances Polvogt
Alanis, 69, of Bandera, died
Friday evening in the Sid
Peterson Memorial Hospital
from injuries suffered when
she was hit by a car earlier in
the day in Bandera. Services
were Monday afternoon in
St. Stanislaus Catholic
Church with Msgr. Ralph
Smith officiating. Burial was
in the church cemetery under
the direction of the Grimes-
Plummer Funeral Chapels.
She was born Jan. 5, 1910
in Dallas and had lived in
Bandera 30 years. She was a
legal secretary.
Survivors include five
sons, Dan C. Alanis III and
Randle Lee Alanis, both of
Bandera, Bruce Alanis of
San Antonio, John Alanis of
El Paso and Robert Alanis of
Austin; one sister; one
brother and 13 grandchildren.
