Jeannette is the fourth of ten children and the first daughter. On Jan 31, 1935 she married to Jerry Jongejeugd. They spent 25 years on a farm east of Platte. Since 1960 she has lived in Platte, working as a store clerk at Dykstra's Clothing Store.
