Singer, guitarist, poet and composer of rock. He was leader of the band "Almendra", founded in 1967, who produced several hits such as "Ana doesn't sleep", "Prayer for a sleeping child" and "Girl (paper eyes)" become classics of rock in spanish. After separation founded and led the groups "Pescado Rabioso" "Invisible", "Spinetta Jade", "Spinetta y los Socios del Desierto" and then began his soloist career to date. He recorded over 40 albums and composed the soundtrack for several films.
