Sudie was the first of fourteen children born to Newton Alexander Bradshaw and Mary Margaret Elizabeth Hudson, both of Mississippi. On 27 Oct 1919, she married Oscar Lee Neese, son of Henry I. Neese, Jr. and Eliza Ellen James, both of Mississippi. Sudie and Oscar were the parents of seven children: Lessie Lee (1920-2000), m. Walter L. Truhett; Bernice (1924-2008)(Memorial #48697517), m. Jesse Clyde White; Henry Newton Neese (1927 - ), m. Christeen Mizell; Vivian "Bill" Lee (1929-2007)(Memorial #38761746), m. Katherine Bethany; Randolph (1932-1995), m. Mary Cochrain; Mary Nell (1936 - ), m. Charles T. Brinson; and Jack Lamar (1941-2012), m. Patricia Ann Nixon. Sudie is buried next to her husband in the Linwood cemetery in Neshoba county, Mississippi.
