Ethel C. Adair, 91, of Emmett, died Wednesday, Nov 7, 1984, in an Emmett nursing home. Funeral services were held Saturday with Rev. Frank Wyatt of the United Presbyterian Church officiating. Burial followed in the Emmett Cemetery. Mrs. Adair, a homemaker, was born Jan 16, 1893, at Alliance, Neb. She moved to Colorado in 1905. She married Jesse R. Adair on June 10, 1917 at Penrose, Colo. They moved to Emmett in 1927. He died Aug 31, 1974. She was a member of the Presbyterian Church and the Emmett Senior Citizens Center. Survivors include a son, Harold Adair, of Boise; a daughter, Evelyn Smidt of Coolidge, Ariz; two sisters, Alice Adair of Emmett and Lucille Tiedge of Crewell, OR; 12 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A son, Arthur, died in June of 1973.
