Helen Vrackas Katsekis, 79, of Tampa, FL formerly of Albany died Thursday Feb 2, 2012 at South Tampa Health and Rehab.
Funeral service will be held Monday 10:30AM at Kimbrell-Stern with interment to follow at Riverside Cemetery. Father Robert John O'Loughlin will be officiating.
Born in Wauchula, FL, Mrs. Katsekis lived in Albany since 1952 where she retired from Woolworth's. She was a member of Holy Mother of God Orthodox Church in Tallahassee, FL. She was preceded in death by her husband "Nick" George Katsekis.
Survivors include five children Christine Katsekis of Tampa, FL; Mary Larkin and her husband James of Tampa, FL; George Katsekis and his wife Tammy of Houston, TX; Stacy Bishop of Americus, GA; Angie Wolf and her husband Randy of Brandon, FL; two sisters Elizabeth Poulos and her husband Phillip of Asheville, NC; Irene Kavouklis and her husband Michael of Tampa, FL; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 5:00 to 7:00PM at Kimbrell-Stern.
