Alicia C. Montemayor, age 79, of Pleasanton, passed away Wednesday, December 14, 2011, in San Antonio.
Our sweet sweet mother Alicia C. Montemayor (ITA) has left us and is now in the company of our dad (Augustin) she is surrounded by the light, love and grace of the Almighty. She is also reunited with her parents and brothers now.
While she is so painfully missed, she is now in eternal happiness; for she is now where we all shall follow in the grace of God!
She is survived by her sons: Augustin C. Montemayor and wife Martha of Pleasanton, Alfonso Montemayor and wife Sonya of Pleasanton; sister: Sofia Pastrano and husband Gregory of San Antonio, sisters-in-law, Guadalupe and Theresa Cardenas both of San Antonio; grandchildren Augustin G. Montemayor, Veronica Montemayor Spencer, Alfonso Montemayor, Kristina Montemayor; great grandchildren Maria, Augustin, Souen, Mariko, Miyoshi, Isabella and Adan as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Montemayor is preceded in death by her husband Augustin S. Montemayor and brothers Gilbert and Isidro Cardenas.
Visitation will be held at Hurley Funeral Home, 118 West Oaklawn Rd., Pleasanton, from 5:00 PM to 9:00 PM, with a rosary to be recited at 7:00 PM Friday, December 16, 2011. Funeral service will be at St. Andrew Catholic Church, Pleasanton, at 10:00 AM, Saturday, December 17, 2011. Interment will follow at St. Andrew #2 Cemetery in Pleasanton.
