She was born July 30, 1938, in Roaring Spring, Pa., to Robert and Mildred (Hoover) Over. She married Egon W. Borgmann on June 25, 1960, and he survives.
Sandra was a graduate of Roaring Spring High School, Roaring Spring, Pa., and completed her undergraduate degree at Juniata College in 1960. She also completed post-graduate work in elementary education at Temple University.
She was an elementary school teacher in the Upper Darby (Pa.) School District and later committed her energies to raising her three children.
Active in the church her entire life, she was at various times a member of the Roaaring Spring First Brethren Church, Trinity Presbyterian Church and Wilmington Church of the Brethren in Wilmington, Del., and, after moving to North Manchester, the Manchester Church of the Brethren.
She was the beloved "Grammy" to seven grandchildren and enjoyed attending and supporting her grandchildren's sports and school activities, gardening, cross-stitching, and baking pies and prolific numbers of Christmas cookies to share with her family and friends.
She is also survived by two sons, R. Kurt (Loyce) Borgmann, North Manchester, and Kevin (Haise) Borgmann, Washington, D.C.; a daughter, Karin (John) Borgmann-Winter, Conshohocken, Pa.; two brothers, R. Stanton Over, Lake Wylie, S.C., and John H. Over, Roaring Spring, Pa.; and seven grandchildren.
