He was born in Barberton, where he resided for 64 years, his last 10 years in Zephyrhills, Fla. He was employed with P.P.G. Chemical Co. for 37-1/2 years as a welder. His last employment was with Falls Savings Bank for six years in the maintenance department. He was a member of the Barberton Evangelical Friends Church for 31 years and attended the Zephyr hills Wesleyan Church and the Louisville Nazarene Church. Otto was an avid golfer.
He is survived by wife, Donna; daughters, Toni (Bruce) Snyder of Tallmadge and Kim Knowles of North Canton; granddaughter, Wendy Snyder of Tallmadge; brothers, Arthur (Marcene) of Akron and Steve (Mary Lou) of Fairfield Glade, Tenn.; many nieces and nephews.
