Emmie Anderson

MILES CITY, MT. --- Emmie Anderson , a former North Dakota resident, moved to Miles City in 1939 and to Bremerton, WA., in 1942, returning to Miles City in 1945.

She was a member of First Lutheran Church in Miles City, Drove of Does, Eagles Auxiliary, Women of the Moose, Sons of Norway, Montana Council of Senior Citizens and Range Riders Reps.

Mrs., Anderson 74, died Wednesday evening in Holy Rosary Hospital in Miles City after a short illness.

She was born in Streeter, N.D., a daughter of Hans August and Alma Christina Olson Bergeson.

She married John Rudolph Anderson on June 8, 1935 in Moorhead, MN.

They lived in Fargo, Grenora, Bottineau, Belfield and Medora in North Dakota, before moving to Miles City.

Surviving include her husband, seven sisters, Annie Erickson of Kulm, N.D., Mabel Lokken of Reseda, CA., Esther Conwell and Selma "Sally" Larreck both of Or;ano, FL., Alma Willden and Rose Gibbs both of Seattle, WA., and Betty Bennett of South Shore, KY., her twin brother Einor if Encampment, WY., two grandsons and two great granddaughters.

Prayer service will be at 7 p.m. Sunday in the Chapel of Stevenson and Sons Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in First Lutheran Church.

Burial in Custer County Cemetery, Miles City, MT.
