Gabriel E. Baltazor
Minneapolis – The funeral for Gabriel E. Baltazor, 69, Minneapolis, formerly of 820 Park, Salina, will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, Concordia, the Rev. LeRoy Metro officiating. Burial will be in St. Concordia Cemetery.
Mr. Baltazor died Tuesday at Asbury Hospital, Salina.
He was born Dec. 27, 1909 at Damar, Kan. He had lived at Concordia until moving to Salina in 1957 and had worked at the Michaelson Lumber Company and later at Henry Industries. Mr. Baltazor had been a resident of the Good Samaritan Center at Minneapolis since 1976. He was a member of the Catholic Church.
Surviving are his wife, Albertine, of the Center; four sons, Bernard E., 1930 Haskett; Donald A., 428 Morrison; Louis T.; 419 Putnam, and Virgil D. 910 N. Eleventh, all of Salina; a daughter, Mrs. Theresa Tatro, Culver; 21 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
The rosary will be recited at 8 p.m. Thursday at Shields Funeral Home, Minneapolis, where friends may call.
