One of the town historians took a photo of the stone in the 1970's and is looking for the negative. My mother saw the stone in the 1980's and said it had fallen and was broken. and that it was later replaced in ground with only the name showing." The stone cannot be found in the early 2000's. It may be waiting for someone to unearth it.
