HAINES CITY - Lora "Sue" Cody, 87, of Haines City, FL passed away on January 25, 2012 of heart failure at her residence.
She was born in Huntsville, Alabama on April 7, 1924. Sue was born to Cora Beatrice Cornelison and Samuel Eugene Cornelison.
Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Fred T. Cody and sister, Ruby Stone.
Sue was owner/operator of Cody's Auto Parts in Haines City. Sue was a member of the Women of the Moose of Winter Haven and was a member of Victory Community Church, Haines City.
Sue is survived by her children Gene (Margie) Cody of Haines City, Mary Sue Crocker of Haines City, Karen Barker Brown of Haines City, Eileen Dunn of Haines City, sister Connie Vance of Titusville FL, 7 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
Graveside Services will be held Saturday, January 28, 2012 at 1:00 PM at Forest Hill Cemetery, Haines City.
