A native of Sunflower, AL, a resident of Satsuma, AL for a number of years, departed this life on Monday, December 9, 1991 at a local hospital. She leaves to cherish her memory four daughters, Lula B. Stegall, Satsuma, AL, Jessie M. (Ben) Martin, Gertrude (Aaron) Kirksey, both of Prichard, AL, and Rosie L. (Curtis) Malone of Seattle, WA; two sons, Fletcher (Mary) Austin, Jr. of Sacramento, CA and Roosevelt Austin of Prichard, AL; twenty four grandchildren, one devoted, James Stegall Jr.; forty five great-grandchildren; seven sisters-in-law, Lee Lang and Aquilia Lang of Wagerville, AL, Caldonia Osbey and Eval L. Lee both of Prichard, AL, Sarah Hayes and Willie A. Jackson of Mt. Vernon, AL and Amanda Austin of Satsuma, AL; two brothers-in-law, Jerry Austin and Si Austin of Satsuma, AL; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
