Goldie M. Trezise, 92, of Westernport, MD died Thursday, January 19, 2012 at Potomac Valley Hospital, Keyser, WV.

She was born on August 14, 1919 in Streby, WV to Emily and Hubert Martin. She was preceded in death by her husband of 41 years, Ellis P. Trezise, her son, E. Paul Trezise, two brothers and a sister. She is survived by her sons and daughters-in-law, David A. and Geri Trezise of Mayflower, AR, and Thomas M. and Katherine Trezise of Flanders, NJ, nine grandchildren, seven great-grandchildren, two brothers and a sister.

Goldie was a life-long member of the Church of the Brethren and served God in numerous roles at the church in Westernport. She was an avid bowler and won many trophies and awards, including in the Senior Olympics for the State of Maryland. She also was an accomplished quilter and won awards in county and state fairs for her quilts. She enjoyed traveling, including to Europe and Hawaii. Goldie deeply loved, and was loved by, her family and friends.

Friends and family will be received on Friday, January 27, 2012 at the Boal Funeral Home, Westernport, MD between 2 and 4 PM and 7 and 9 PM. Goldie's life will be celebrated on Saturday, January 28, 2012, at the Westernport Church of the Brethren at 10:00 AM.

The family asks that donations in lieu of flowers be made in Goldie's memory to the Westernport Church of the Brethren, 200 Oakview Drive, Westernport, MD 21562-1520.
