RALPH A. BABCOCK
Ralph A. Babcock, 59, first village president of Delanson, and ex-councilor of the town of Duanesburgh, died suddenly Saturday evening at his home in Delanson, after a brief illness of heart trouble. Mr. Babcock was working about his automobile when overcome. Private funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon and burial was in Grove cemetery, Delanson. Rev. Arthur Schloop of the Methodist church conducted the service.
Mr. Babcock was head of the R. A. Babcock and Son Hay and Lumber Company of Delanson. He was born in Schoharie county and had lived 27 years in Delanson. Seven years ago he established the business into which he took his son, Harold, four years later. He was a member of Noah Lodge of Masons of Altamont. Mr. Babcock was a former town clerk.
Besides his wife he leaves three sons, Harold, of Delanson, Ernest, of Lakewood, Ohio, and Perry, of Savannah. Ga„ and one grandson.

Private funeral from his late residence Tuesday afternoon, April 27 at 2:30 o'clock. Home will be open for convenience of friends Monday evening from 7 to 9.
Interment at Grove Cemetery.
