Mrs. Zadee McKinney Parker, 93, of Kountze, TX, went from Earth to Glory on Friday, January 13, 2012, at her residence. Mrs. Zadee McKinney Parker was a native of Woodlawn, TX. and a graduate from Pemberton High School in Marshall, TX. and from Bishop College in 1940, with a BA degree in Education. Later, she obtained her Master's. A Going Home service for Mrs. Zadee McKinney Parker will be on Thursday, at 11:00 a.m., at the Greater Mt. Corinth Missionary Baptists Church in Kountze, TX., and Mrs. Zadee McKinney Parker's final resting place will be at the Magnolia Cemetery in Woodville, TX. A Glimpse Before Glory (Visitation) will be from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services. Mrs, Zadee McKinney Parker, as she was known, lived in the Woodville, TX area for a number of years, before moving to Kountze, leaves to cherish her memories, two children: Sharon (George) Mosely of Denton, TX., and Gerald (Mellet) McKinney of North Hollywood, CA.; and a devoted step daughter, Gloria Williams and step-son, Fred Williams, both of Kountze.
