Hazel L. Bryan
MUNCIE - Hazel L. (McCarty) Bryan, 75, Muncie, died Friday evening at the Woodland Nursing Home in Muncie after an extended illness.
She was born in Alexandria and had lived in Madison County until 1981 when she moved to Muncie. She worked for the Herman Bryan Real Estate Co. as a Realtor until she retired in 1970 after 30 years of employment. She was a member of the Alexandria Baptist Church.
Survivors include a son, James "Rudy" Bryan, Long Beach, Calif; three daughters, Susan Callaway, Long Beach, Calif., Maureen Ellinwood of Muncie and Johanna Fields of Anderson; a brother, McCarty of Aledander, a sister, Dorothy Horn of Alexandria; eight grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Graveside services were at 3 p.m. today at East Maplewood Cemetery with the Rev. Clifton Richardson officiating.
