Jean was a long haul truck driver for the majority of his life. He enjoyed outdoor activities, and loved going shooting.
He is survived by his children; Paul Jean Vanderkraats, Dean Hatch, Monica Hatch, Jenine Myers, Patty Bohan and Brent Hatch, sister; Naomi Hatch, and 15 grandchildren.
Jean was preceded in death by his wife; Elizabeth Ann and son; Travis Joseph, two brothers; Garry D. Hatch and Gawin L. Hatch, sister; Nada Eldredge, his parents, and many other family members.
Funeral Services were conducted Friday January 6, at 11 am at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Viewings were held Thursday 6-8 pm and Friday 1 hour prior to services at the mortuary. Interment was in the Vernal Memorial Park with Military Honors by the American Legion Post 11 and 124 and the Utah Army National Guard. Services entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary
