Catherine Duke Austin, age 16, was a Senior at Provo High School. Cathy had previously attended schools in Casper, Wyoming. She was a quiet and bright student and a member of the French Club, in the class of '76. She was married to Mark C. Austin of Provo, Utah on 18 Oct 1974; he took the lives of Cathy and the baby she was carrying. Cathy was also a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Survivors include her husband, parents and grandparents. She is buried with her unborn son.
