ii. WILLIAM EDDY, b. Aug 16, 1752: bapt. May 15, 1763, at Norton, Mass (V.R.); d. May 1778, killed by a shot from a British Man-o-war (Eddy Gen. of 1881). The Memoir of Colonel Jonathan Eddy states that he was a Lieutenant in the Continental Army, and was killed by a shot from a British frigate while in an open boat near Eastport, Maine, on May 3, 1778. He married OLIVE MORSE; b. 1752. She married (2) Hezekiah King. She lived in Nova Scotia with George King, her son by her second husband.
iii. IBROOK EDDY, b. 9 Jan 1754, at Mansfield, Mass; bp. 15 May 1763; d. 6 Jan 1833 or 1834, at Eddington, Me.; m. Nov 2, 1780, LONA PRATT; daughter of Samuel PRATT an Experience (WHITE)PRATT of Mansfield, Mass. She was born 6 May 6, 1761, at Norton, Mass, and Died at Eddington, Maine, in 1802. He married (2) CELIA (WILDE)COGGESHALL of Taunton on Apr 17, 1806. She died 23 May 1842.
iv. ELIAS EDDY, b. Nov. 30, 1757; bapt. May 15, 1763, Norton.
