LAVERNE, CA - Mary Benoit Babineaux, 75, a native of Lafayette, LA and resident of Laverne, CA, died on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 9:20 PM.
Mary is survived by three sons, Mark and wife, Karen of Van Nuys, CA, Greg and wife, Kitty of Garland, TX, and James and wife, Shauna of Palmdale, CA.; one sister, Verlie B. Mier and husband, Raymond of Lafayette, LA; two brothers, Lawrence Benoit and wife, Alice of Youngsville, LA. and Paul Brennen Benoit and wife, Bertha of Houma, LA.; as well as numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents, Honoré and Elviré Lopez Benoit; two brothers, Daren and Aaron Benoit; one granddaughter, Melissa Babineaux; her former husband, Nolan Babineaux; and companion, Chip Leonard.
Mary retired in 1998 after 20 years of service with ADP Payroll.
