THE BEST DAD EVER - HE IS MISSED SO MUCH...

~ 1954 May 30: They were married in New Washington, IN, and October 1954 they packed up their car with all their belongings, and with $100 in their pockets moved to CA, when they arrived they had $35 left. They stayed with Marqua's brother, Fritz and his family for a couple of weeks, until Paul found a job, and then they moved to Bell, CA.

~ 1959 Jul 2: Sandra Marie was born (Paul was working for US Postal Service as a Mail Carrier)
~ 1965-1994: Paul retired from Hughes Aircraft Company in El Segundo, CA. He was a buyer and one of his projects was the Surveyor that went to the moon, many classified projects as well. He sat in the Racer of Howard Hughes prior to being sent to the Smithsonian Museum, he also got to sit in the Spruce Goose. He loved his airplanes.
~ 1985 Oct: Paul and Marqua moved to Sharon Grove, KY, where Marqua became interested in genealogy and researched the Cunningham family (her mother's family).
~ 1987: they returned to CA.
~ 1999 (May): After Marqua's retirement, Paul and Marqua moved to Johnson City, TN.
~ Paul's hobbies are model airplanes, collecting diecast cars, woodworking and puttering around in his garage (man cave) and fishing.
~ When Paul was cremated, his wife (Marqua), daughters and their husbands (Sharon/Tom and Sandi/Bob), grandchildren (Joshua, Stephen, Samantha & Samuel), and great-grand daughter (Cadence) drove from Johnson City, TN to Claymour, KY to bury his ashes between his parents (Pernie and William).
