Lloyd W. Phillips, 79, of 20182 U.S. 20 West, East Dubuque, Ill., formerly of Galena, Ill., and Dubuque, died at 6:10 a.m. Tuesday, July 29, 2003, at Mercy Medical Center-Dubuque.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at St. Joseph the Worker Catholic Church, Dubuque, with the Rev. Lyle L. Wilgenbusch officiating. Entombment will be in Resurrection Garden Mausoleum at Mount Calvary Cemetery. Friends may call after 9:30 a.m. Thursday at the church. The Miller Funeral Home, East Dubuque, is in charge of arrangements.
Mr. Phillips operated Galena Body Shop for 40 years, prior to his retirement.
He was born on Oct. 10, 1923, in Dubuque, son of Willis and Alta (Rheel) …
