He is survived by his widow; two sons, Cephus John, U. S. Army, and Joshua J. John, Dallas; one sister, Mrs. Rahab Baker, Wright City and four grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Goodland church 10 miles northwest of Idabel with Rev. Isaac James officiating.
Arrangements and burial in Goodland cemetery were under direction of Norwood Welch funeral home.
