Zenna Beatrice "Bea" Allmond, 86 year old Hitchita resident entered eternal rest on Thursday, December 8, 2011 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.

Bea was born in Friday, August 28, 1925 in Bucoda, Missouri to Ollie and Mamie (Taylor) Spry. She grew up in Senath, Missouri where she graduated from Senath High School in 1944. On Saturday, November 6, 1948, in Piggott, Arkansas she married her best friend, W.C. Allmond, and together they shared sixty four years of marriage. On December 31, 1985 Bea retired from Holiday Inn, having worked as an accounts payable computer clerk.
She loved working with her hands, whether it was working in the garden, canning food or crocheting. Beatrice was a member of the First Free Will Baptist church of Checotah.

She was preceded in death by her parents and two of her sisters.

Bea is lovingly survived by her husband, W.C. of the home; son, Rick Allmond and his wife Beverly; one granddaughter, Natalie Bogart; three grandsons, Lonny Stuart, Paul Head, Nolan Head and his wife Katy; six great grandchildren, Logan, Nick, Deziree, Caleb, Malia, Hailey; one sister, Doris Atwood; four brothers, Jack Spry, Charles Spry, Jerry Spry, Roger Spry, other extended family, and a lifetime of friends.

In honoring the life of Bea, in lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorials be made in her memory to the Breast Cancer Foundation at 2600 Network Blvd, Ste 300, Frisco, Texas, 75034 or Alzhiemer Foundation of American at 322 8th Ave., 7th Floor, New York, New York, 10001. Viewing for Bea will be 11AM to 5PM on Saturday, December 10, 2011 and 1PM to 5PM on Sunday, December 11, 2011.

Funeral services will be 10AM Monday, December 12, 2011, First Baptist Church, Checotah, with Reverend Gary McKeen and Reverend Steve Dennis officiating. Committal prayers and interment will be 12 - Noon in Fort Gibson National Cemetery.
Harold Lackey, Bob Hogan, Brian Rockow, Ed Weeks, Rick Tidwell, Jerry Longcrier will serve as Casket Bears and Dewayne Matthews, Lensey Chandler, Archie Pruitt, Bill Miner, Lloyd Dupler, Tom Wilson as Honorary Casket Bearers.
