Lewis Oscar Beacham age 85, of Rockledge will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, September 1, 2011 in the Chapel of Townsend Brothers Funeral Home. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Rockledge. Rev. Mike Mertz will officiate. Mr. Beacham was a member of Union Baptist Church. He was a farmer and served as director of Mutual Production Credit and Goldkist Corp. He was preceded in death by his father, Lewis Oscar Beacham, Sr., mother, Myrtle Dukes Beacham; brothers, Robert Beacham, Paul Beacham, Theo Beacham, Duke Theo Beacham, Duke Beacham and Douglas Beacham; sisters, Mary Wynn and Hazel Drew. Mr. Beacham passed away on Monday, August 29, 2011 at Serenity Place. The family will receive friends at Townsend Brothers Funeral Home on Wednesday evening from 6-8 p.m.
