Eddie "Honey Pea" Mae Nelson, 61, of Bryan passed away Monday, August 27, 2007. Services are set for 2 p.m. Saturday, September 1 at Independent Missionary Church in Hearne with burial in Riverside Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12 to 6 p.m. Friday, August 31 at Glenn Mack Funeral Home, with a wake service from 6 to 8 p.m.
Eddie was born November 9, 1945 in Hearne. She was a stay at home mother and worked at Lifetime Doors Inc. and Dixie Café.
Survivors include her parents, Eddie and Ella Mae Nelson; son, Curtis Nelson; daughters, Fledia Satchell, Theresha Nelson, Pamela Nelson, Wanda Nelson and Demetria Nelson; 22 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and special friends.
