Fort Stockton, Texas: Gregoria Subia Aguirre, age 85, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2011 at Pecos Nursing Home in Pecos, Texas. Visitation will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2011 from 10:00 A.M until 8:00 P.M. with a Rosary to be said at 7:00 P.M. in the Chapel of the Divine Mercy at Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. on Thursday, December 1, 2011 at Saint Agnes Catholic Church with Father Joseph Mamachen officiating. Rite of Committal will follow at Saint Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Fort Stockton. Heritage Funeral Home of the Big Bend of Fort Stockton has been entrusted with the arrangements. Gregoria was born on March 12, 1926 in Pecos, Texas to Moises P. and Aleja (Subia) Aguirre. She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Robert Aguirre. She is survived by her brothers Vic, Audelio, Ismael, Fidel (Gloria), and Frank (Vicenta) Aguirre; sisters Angela (Marcos) Contreras and Oralia (Ben) Jimenez; sister-in-law Lali Aguirre; eighteen nephews, thirteen nieces, and numerous grand-nephews and nieces.
