Services for Tommie Mae Austin were Feb. 13, 2010 at Reeds Chapel with burial in the New Hope Cemetery. Mrs. Austin, age 56, of Lexington died Wednesday Feb. 10, 2010 in Jackson. She is survived by a daughter Amy (Jerry) Nicks; a son Stephen (Patsy) Austin; two sisters, Betty Conrad and Wilma Woods; four grandchildren. She was preceded by her husband Fred Austin; her parents Thomas and Dora Pirtle and silbings, Howell Pirtle, Ruth Webb, Jewell Pirtle, William Pirtle, James Brady, Pirtle and Bessie Nell Pirtle.
