Ricky Edwin Davis, 47, of Lewisville, died Monday, November 28, 2011 from a farming accident at his home.

He was born July 2, 1964, in Rexburg, Idaho to Wayne C. and Delois Lamborn Davis. He was raised and attended schools in St. Anthony, Idaho, and graduated from South Fremont High School. He had two beautiful daughters, Bailey and Rickie, with Paula Kaye Bair. On November 4, 2005 he married Maren Smith in Rigby.

He worked for the Idaho Department of Transportation for 22 years in road maintenance. He also worked on the Wilkins Ranch and Trude Ranch in Island Park since 1987.

Rick is a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. He served in the Young Men's organization and in the Nursery of the Lewisville 2nd Ward. Rick will always be remembered for his love of his daughters, wife and family. He enjoyed his horses, outdoors, hunting fishing and all life had to offer. Hard work, honesty, respect and integrity was his way of life and he will truly be missed by all.

He is survived by his wife, Maren Davis, of Lewisville, his daughters, Bailey Gene Davis of Lewisville, Idaho and Rickie Kaye Davis of Salmon, Idaho, his parents, Wayne C. and Delois Davis, of Salmon, Idaho, sister, Tammy (Travis) Peebles, of Rigby, brother, Steven (Laree) Davis, of Chester, Idaho and his grandmother, Vida Lamborn, of Ashton, Idaho.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011, at the Lewisville 2nd Ward, 474 N. 3450 E., Lewisville. The family will receive friends from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. Wednesday evening and from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m., prior to services both at the church. Burial will be in the Annis Little Butte Cemetery, under the care of Eckersell Memorial Chapel in Rigby.
