MUNCIE--Former Anderson resident, Dorothy Milles Burkett, 83, Muncie, died January 16, 1998 at Britthaven of Prospect. She was a retired accounting department employee of Marsh Food Corp. in Indianapolis.
Survivors include daughters, Patricia D. Lerner and Julia E. Merchant; sister, Helen Kincaid; eight grandchildren, and 11 great-grandchildren.
Services will be 2 p.m. Tuesday at Elm Ridge Cemetery Chapel, Muncie. Burial will be at Elm Ridge Cemetery. Visitation is from 2 to 8 p.m. Monday at the cemetery chapel and after 1:30 p.m. Tuesday. Memorial gifts can be given to American Cancer Society.
