Daughter of Louis and Matilda (Steele) Lordson. Mae's father died of a broken leg, a fat embolism which formed in his leg following a compound fracture sustained the day before he died. Mae was five years old when he died, she grew up with her younger brother and widowed mother.
Wife of "Frank" S. Brindley who preceded her in death by forty-four years (1928). Pearl and Frank had no children in the short time of their marriage and she never remarried. She took in boarders and then lived with her brother after giving up the farm.

Mrs. Pearl Mae Brindley of Pickford died at 6 p.m. Wednesday [June 7] at the house of her brother, Alfred Lordson, after an illness of seven months. Mrs. Brindley was born in Stalward on April 3, 1895 and was a lifelong resident of the Pickford area. She was a member of the Pickford Presbyterian Church. Her husband, Frank Brindley, preceded her.
She is survived by two brothers, Alfred Lordson of Pickford and Ellsworth Lordson of Cedarville; and a foster-brother Edwin Darr of Sault Ste. Marie.
Calling hours at the Quinell Funeral Home will be from 2 to 5 and 7 to 10p.m. today.
Funeral service will be conducted at the funeral home at 2p.m. Friday with the Rev. J. Robert Walter officiating. Burial will be in Bethel cemetery in Pickford.
Six nephews will be pallbearers.
Memorials may be made to the Pickford Presbyterian Church.
