Mrs. Hazel Grogan Adams 86 of Shelbyville died Friday, November 18th, at the Christian Care Center of Shelbyville. She was a native of Bedford County; a retired cook for Southside School Cafeteria and a member of the Mt. Lebanon Baptist Church.
She was the daughter of the late Ed B. and Erie Tatum Grogan and the wife of the late William Paul Adams who died in 2005. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Alma Prosser.
She is survived by a daughter, Donna Kay (Kenny) Foster of Shelbyville; four brothers, James "Red" Grogan, Alvis Grogan of Shelbyville, Charles Grogan of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla., Edward Grogan of Wichita Falls, Texas; three sisters, Shirley Vasser, Barbara Griffin of Shelbyville, Ruby Whitlock of Chicago, Illinois; two Grandchildren, Ashley Nicole Foster Overcast and April Michelle Foster Sakowicz.
Funeral Services will be held 11:00 A.M. Monday, November 21st, at Hillcrest Funeral Home Rev. Charles Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Willow Mount Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday evening from 4:00 P.M. to 8:00 P.M.
