Ura Bea Aiton, 88, who came to Arizona in 1898 and was a charter member of Palmcroft Baptist Church, died Tuesday in her home, 2547 E. Indianola.
Mrs. Aiton lived in Duncan, Clifton, Douglas and Flagstaff before moving to Phoenix in 1938.
Surviving are her children, Eaileene Weeks, Edith Grant, Emma Lea McKenzie, Minnie Scott, Mary Jo McMahon, James T. Jr., Taylor and William; a halfbrother; 26 grandchildren, 58 great-grandchildren and 11 great-great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday in the church, 1539 W. McDowell. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. today at A. L. Moore & Sons, 333 W. Adams.
